Well after my travels across the width of the uk, I am now finally back home and sat with my new laptop using the wifi to its best. Am looking forward to do loads of blogging in the new year. but just for now....HAPPY NEW YEAR

Exciting times ahead

We are having some home improvements done so we will have a little more space and hopefully have a less draughty house. A new boiler has been purchased and will be fitted in a couple of weeks. It will be so nice to have running hot water again. It does make you realise just how good it is to have hot water at the turn of the tap!
Our poor kettle as lost the will to live as it has been boiled so often over the last month.

Latest Offering

Using the same yarn as the little top I made for my neice, I have made her next size poncho. It looks lovely in real life, but my rubbish camera cant pick up the pattern too well. I am seeing my neice at the weekend so I hope to get a photo of her wearing it.

Date Night

After being together for so many years and 3 kids later, life can get very busy and u can forget the romance side of things so me n baldy decided to have a date night once a week when we go out just the 2 of us, no kids just us.................well that was a couple of years ago....things have moved on a bit since then.....date night is now a trip to the supermarket to do the weekly shop without the kids and a nip to the local for a swift one on the way home..WHO SAID ROMANCE WAS DEAD!

Summer AT LAST!!!

Just had to make it a permanent record! Summer came to our fair shores this weekend..hope you didn't blink and miss it. We went over to North Cornwall for a bit of Sunday Surfing, had a fab time as the waves were fab and there wasn't any people. Almost had the beach to ourselves. There is definately benefits for living in Cornwall :-)

Pink Bra Run 7th September 2008

Just thought I would post a pickie of me with our friends Steve N Tina at the start of the 'Pink Bra Run' which is a charity bike run starting at Bridgewater in Somerset riding in a big loop via Tiverton in Devon and then back up to Bridgewater. As you can see we do like to dress for the occasion and we do get a lot of onlookers as we ride by. I think there were about 100 bikes that took part, but it was hard to count em all whilst sitting on the back of the bike!!!

A good day was had as the weather held out for us but I did have a sore bum by the end of the day.

Me N Baldy

In late June Mark and I celebrated 21years of being together. Tomorrow we celebrate 17years of Marriage!!!! We have deffo had our ups and downs along the way, but still there solid as ever.
We went out to buy me some biker trousers today and we going off on a bike run for the day tomorrow minus kids *grin*. He keeps dropping VERY BIG hints that he wants a new bike for his anniversary pressie but I think he might have to make do with a pickie of one for now :-)
Here's to the next 21 years Maybe I will be able to buy him a bike for our 25th anniversary!!!
